Kelly from SparkSight.com was kind enough to sport his DroneAbove shirt and send his thoughts on the BNF (bind and fly) Nano QX. I am always looking for cool quads to tinker with but I can't get to them all. I guess the Nano QX is going to jump to the top of the list. Sparksight is an Austin based video production, event management, and design company. If you need some seriously awesome media, this is the place to go. It’s the time of year for some indoor flying! I’m flying my Nano QX here and really enjoying it! I prefer it to the other small quads (Traxxas, Syma, etc.) for a couple of reasons. First, it works with my Spektrum radio through bind and fly (BNF), which is nice. I’ve flown with some of the “toy” radios that come with some of the copters and having a good radio makes a big difference. Also, the Nano QX is great because it has prop protectors built in…this means you can bounce it off furniture, walls, and even the ceiling and keep flying! I also picked up a Estes ProtoX yesterday and am going to try it out today. It’s eventually going to end up in my son’s Christmas stocking, but thought I’d give it a try and then pack it back up. If time permits, I’ll write up a quick review of the ProtoX and send along to Justin to post on Drone Above! BTW - the DA T-shirts are sweet! Thanks to Justin for making them!
