We tested out the drone for a music video shoot that I will be filming in the next few weeks. Lots of fun. Great editing and directing by Eduardo A. Garcia.
UPDATE: Lance Gooden is scaring lots of hobbyists - and rightfully so. While the aim of this bill is not to stop hobbyists, the way it is currently written it basically bans everything. Please write / call / email Lance Gooden and tell them how you feel about this. Here is where the discussion is going on: http://fpvlab.com/forums/showthread.php?12301-TEXANS!-Call-your-reps-today!-Tell-them-NO-on-bill-HB-912!&p=219888#post219888 DroneAbove in the news: http://www.keyetv.com/news/features/featured/stories/lawmaker-wants-drones-regulated-over-texas-skies-283.shtml A lobbyist from Hill Co Partners named Bill Miller contacted me about filming a short video at the capital for a bill that would make it illegal to take photos or videos of private property from an R/C aircraft without consent that Representative Lance Gooden is trying to pass. I agreed to shoot the video and it was featured on the Texas Tribune website. The QAV500 quadcopter attracted quite a bit of attention and everyone wanted to take a look through the FatShark goggles that stream video from the aircraft. Trooper Jackson is seen here checking out the view. They sat there and did the interview while I flew around the capital filming them. |
