The best reason to own the Mavic - portability

It is so easy to just throw my Mavic in the truck when I am driving around.  The hassle of setup is almost entirely avoided.  The drone is so tiny and quiet and it takes great pictures for being so small.  I am not missing my Inspire 1 at all, this thing is exactly what I needed.  It is worth the extra money and it is easy to recommend for just about anyone.  If you like taking aerial photography and wish you would get out there more and grab those awesome elevated shots, stop thinking about it and just buy it.  You really only need 1 battery because it flies for so long.  Skip the fly more combo and just buy the $999 version and grab the Polar Pro case for $29.99.  If you are new to flying or have a habit of crashing, consider the $99 option to replace and fix anything you break in the first year.  I am not new to flying and I don't crash but I bought it anyway.  The only catch is that you have to recover the drone to be able to get a new one or get it repairs which will be hard if it goes in the ocean half a mile out to sea...  Seriously, I love this thing.
